Subifi Terms and Conditions

​Worker Terms

 

1. Introduction

Welcome to Subifi, a digital platform connecting subcontractors with clients across construction, industrial, and engineering sectors. Subifi acts as a marketplace and intermediary facilitating bookings between subcontractors and clients but does not employ or directly engage any workers.

By accessing or using Subifi, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the platform.

2. Subcontractor Responsibilities

  • Ensure all necessary qualifications, licenses, and right-to-work requirements are met.

  • Provide services in a professional and timely manner.

  • Maintain insurance coverage for professional liability where applicable.

  • Agree that Subifi is a platform and does not provide employment.

  • Subifi umbrella ltd will handle all tax and National Insurance contributions independently.

3. Payment Handling & Dispute Resolution

  • Payroll is processed via Subifi umbrella ltd.

  • Subifi does not guarantee payment from ongoing assignments / clients but provides dispute mediation.

  • Any disputes must be reported within 5 days of job completion.

  • Payments will be taken at the start of the assignment for the first week. It is then the responsibility of you (subcontractor) to ensure the client has paid for the following week.

4. Cancellation Policies

  • If a subcontractor cancels a confirmed booking, they may face penalties including temporary account suspension.

  • No-shows without valid reasons may lead to account termination.

5. Liability & Indemnification

  • Subifi is not liable for any work performed, damages, or losses.

  • Subcontractors agree to indemnify Subifi against any claims arising from their work.

6. Platform Fees & Service Charges

  • Subifi charges a payroll fee on each successful booking.

  • Fees are non-refundable unless expressly stated.

7. Compliance (Tax, Insurance, Right to Work)

  • Subcontractors must ensure compliance with all legal and tax obligations.

  • Subifi will withhold CIS tax as applicable.

8. Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)

  • Personal data is stored securely and is only used for service facilitation.

  • Subifi complies with GDPR and relevant data protection laws.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

  • Subifi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for non-compliance.

  • Subcontractors can request account deletion, but outstanding obligations remain enforceable.​​
